Achievements of the Association are given below.

1. Rs. 700-1600 U.G.C. pay-scale for Librarians working in Govt. Colleges and District/Public libraries in Punjab including Left-out Librarians w.e.f. 01-04-1980.

2. Rs. 2200-4000, Rs. 3000-5000 (Sr. Scale) and Rs. 3700-5700 (Selection Grade) U.G.C. pay-scales for 'College Librarians' w.e.f. 01-01-1986 and incentive increments for M.Phil./Ph.D.

3. Class II Gazetted status for College Cadre Librarians in Punjab w.e.f. January, 1995 and Group-'A' status w.e.f. Nov., 2000.

4. Rs. 8000-13500, Rs. 10000-15200 and Rs. 12000-18300 U.G.C. pay scales for 'College Librarians' w.e.f. 01-01-1996.

5. The Association actively pursued the pay-parity issue of Librarians with teachers, which was disturbed by the Govt. of India, while revising the pay-scales of Librarians in 1996. Under the aegis of AIFUCTO, the Association got the pay-parity restored with the issuance of a Notification by the U.G.C. on 19th Oct, 2006.

6. Issuance of Notification by Punjab Govt. on Sep. 20, 2007 granting senior and selection scales to College Librarians w.e.f. 27.07.1998 and Rs. 14940 higher fixation w.e.f. 01-01-1996 at par with college teachers.

7. Rs. 15600-39100 U.G.C. pay-scale with Academic Grade pay (A.G.P.)of Rs. 6000, 7000 & 8000 and Rs. 37,400-67000 pay-scale (Pay Band IV)

with AGP of Rs. 9000 for College Librarians w.e.f. 01-01-2006, alongwith incentive increments for M.Phil./Ph.D.

8. Relaxation in the condition of Refresher courses up to 31-12-1995 and extension in the dates of doing Orientation/Refresher courses up to 30-06-2010 for College Cadre Librarians.

9. Issuance of Approval letter by Punjab Govt. on 13-11-2014 granting study leave with pay to College Librarians in the govt. service for acquiring Ph.D while in service as per U.G.C Regulations.

10. Rs. 57,700-1,82,400, Rs. 68,900-2,05,500, Rs. 79,800-2,11,500 and Rs. 1,31,400-2,17,100 U.G.C. pay scales for 'College Librarians' w.e.f. 01-01-2016 with the issuance of Notification by Punjab Govt. on September 28, 2022.
